Hmm, the Post Office was glad to mail my blocks. So it
must not be illegal in NY at least, or it is a vapor
law that no one knows or cares about. All I know is
the Providian got theirs. One thing though, dont
attach your real name or address to the envelope. I
have nothing against big businesses, but when these
stupid companies send floods of junk mail and
unsolicited phone messages I get really mad. Providian
stepped over the line and if another company dares I
say "bring it" I'll go straight to the press, they
love these stories of the little guy sticking it to
'the man' and although I don't agree with them on the
majority of issues I am sure the majority of Americans
have a small place in them where they loath the
thousands of pieces of junk mail they receive.
I don't want to become a crusader by any means. I just
wanted to get back at a company that was grossly
abusing my right to privacy.
