This is my main issue with buying things from KEH -- to Canada (and
presumably anywhere else outside the US, though I don't know for sure) they
send them overnight UPS. This has two problems;
1. costs US$35 for shipping up front.
2. costs CDN$40 for customs fees at my end.
Now, this is not entirely unreasonable -- it gets here the next day, and it
gets through customs in a really big hurry (whereas things sent, say, UPS
ground can take the best part of a week to clear), so I'm getting something
for my money -- it's just not something that I really _wanted_. (though, I
guess, I know where to go if I'm ever in a hurry).
It certainly takes the shine off some of the prices there..
