Brother Walt -
Thank you for your confessions, as I thought I was the only one with these
exact same thoughts. Life just isn't the same when you can scan through
ebay and pass on potential OM bargains, not placing a single bid, just
because you already have one or something close enough to do the job. I
can't imagine selling any of what I have now, but also don't seem to lust
after anything I don't have. Well, a 250/2 or 350/2.8 would be awfully nice,
but at the moment they are beyond reason. See how my recovery is
progressing?
Maybe it is a bit like romance. Initially there is unbridled lust, which
matures into love and affection, and then over more time comfort,
companionship, and contentment, if you have chosen well.
I do however envy Mr. Scales, who seems to be able to wallow effortlessly in
the depths of Zuikoholism with no true signs of abatement.
