Silly question, probably, but I can't seem to find the answer in either
e-sif or archives. Are there any OM bodies which use the battery on the
B setting or are they always mechanical on B?
>>
I own, or I've used a OM-1, OM-1n, OM-4, OM-10, OM-20.
All mechanical OM off course don't use batteries on B, and this apply on
OM-1(n) and OM-3(Ti).
The OM-4 (and also OM-4Ti and the OM-2S I think), even if it is an
electronic camera, has a
mechanical B and 1/60, so on these settings the camera does not need
batteries.
I'm not sure about the OM-2/OM-2n.
For the OM-10/20 the camera need batteries also on B: without the shutter
opens but never close.
