Anyway has anyone ever heard of/seen a Pentax screw/OM
adapter around? If not I'll have to look for an old
Spotmatic or K1000 body just for this lens. Thanks for

Oh, if only.......
The figures below show lens mount-to-focal plane distances:
Nikon bayonet 46.50
Olympus OM bayonet 46.00
Olympus Pen F bayonet 28.95
Pentax/Practica M42x1 thread 45.46
So, you are out of luck - Pentax M42 screw thread lenses need 45.46mm
and the OM is 46.50 - add an adapter ring and it does of course get
worse.
The Spotmatic would be a good choice.
