Mark,
1 .I'm not familiar with this particular lens. Are you sure the
included adapter is nothing more than a lens to Pentax T mount? If the
mount is a generic T mount, you should be able to replace the current T
mount with an Olympus T mount.
2. I would think that you would want an aperture priority Pentax body,
rather than a K-1000. The K-1000 is similar to an OM-1, and has only
mechanical shutter speeds. You will have only one f-stop to play with,
so "OM-2 like" capabilities would be desirable.
3. For the K-1000 or any other "K-mount" you would need the K-mount to
M42 adapter.
