Just remember, "If it don't click, it won't stick." Except for
special occasions, all my cameras have either motor drives or
winders, and when changing screens, I cycle the camera a half
dozen times with the lens off just to make sure. Of course, if
you're changing screens mid-roll, this is not practical. But,
then, why would you change screens in mid-roll?
I learned this lesson the hard way. When shooting a race a while
ago, a loose screen locked up my OM-4 (with motor drive) after the
first shot just as a BMW M1 was launched via spectacular collision
almost over my left shoulder. You can see here what I got, then
