Frankly, I agree with what someone (Rich?) said earlier... it's the eye
behind the viewfinder that makes the biggest difference. I've seen some
*fantastic* shots that were taken with pretty clunky gear.
I, on the other hand, am still a "learner." Although I've noticed
significant improvement over the last couple of years, I think if I invested
megabucks in fancy, new-fangled gear, it probably wouldn't help much.
