Has anyone measured the color temperature of the new G.E. "Reveal" light
bulbs? They just came out in the US, and I picked up a pack of 100W
bulbs. . . unlit, they hav a blue-amethyst tone; not as blue as
photofloods but much cooler than regular "soft-whites".
I wonder if these could be used successfully with daylight film, either
alone or in mixed lighting. I hate photofloods, and a few 100W bulbs in
clamp-lamps would work nicely for tabletop photography, especially with
800 speed color-neg.
OM content: I'm going to try them out with an OM-2n.
