Hi, Zuiks! I've been back for a while, just lurking. It was *really*
interesting to learn how Zuikos reproduce in the dark corners of those dark
camera bags. :-)
I have some lenses for sale that I don't use any more. I do better with a
rangefinder camera than an SLR under most conditions, especially available
light. So I've gone to Leica for much of my shooting. If you'd like to see
what I've been up to, check out my Web site at http://www.2alpha.net/~pklein.
I want to give the list first shot at these lenses before I resort to Ebay.
You can see pictures of the lenses at:
http://www.2alpha.net/~pklein/forsale
This link brings up a directory listing--the file names should be
obvious. There's also some Leica screw-mount stuff there.
The Zuiko lenses are all older single-coated lenses which are a little soft
wide open, but fine at normal picture-taking apertures. I have happily
used them for standard outdoor photography and flash. They all take 49mm
filters. Please note that my descriptions are "full-disclosure" rather
than used-car sales-speak. Prices do *not* include shipping--I will add
the actual shipping cost once I know where the buyer is. If you don't like
the price, make me an offer.
Here's what I've got:
** 50mm f/1.4 G.Zuiko, SC, S/N 366,3xx. Great glass, mechanics smooth and
feel like new, cosmetics Exc++. Only a little minor brassing on the f-stop
ring. There may be a small amount of dust inside. No fog, no fungus,
diaphragm smooth and snappy with no oil on the blades. Include front and
rear cap, Olympus slip-on rubber lens hood that also fits the 50/1.8 and
35/2.8. Price $65.00.
** 35mm f/2.8 E.Zuiko, SC, S/N 132,2xx. Good glass, mechanics smooth,
f-stop ring action feels a little worn but works fine, "user condition"
cosmetics. There is a ding in the filter ring which has been
straightened--you can see evidence of this in the front view picture above
the word "Auto." One tiny cleaning mark on the edge of the front element,
by the number "1" in the serial number, and a small amount of dust. The
focusing ring has been reglued, resulting in a 1.5mm gap where the two ends
of the rubber ring come together underneath the lens when mounted on the
camera (not shown in pictures). All this sounds worse than it really
is. No fog, no fungus, diaphragm smooth and snappy with no oil on the
blades. Include rear cap and a generic screw-in rubber lens hood. Price
$50.00.
** 100mm f/2.8 E.Zuiko, SC, S/N 126,7xx. Great glass, mechanics
smooth. The lens was dropped (before I bought it) resulting in a ding on
the side of the silver ring at the bottom of the lens. You can see this in
one of the pictures. Despite this, the lens performs fine at standard
outdoor apertures, mounts smoothly, and both the f-stop ring and focusing
ring have a "nearly-new" feel. Includes front and rear cap, Rokinon UV
filter, and Olympus rubber screw-in lens hood that also fits the
85/2. Price $125.00.
Please email me if interested.
Thanks,
