I've got a bunch but I'll try to keep it simple. I'm trying to figure
out what I should get. I like the 2 series but they don't easily fit in
the OM1-2, besides the improper readings. The clear field screens are
attractive choices...maybe. So:
--What is the relative brightness of the clear field screens (1-5,6,7)
compared to the 2 series screens? If they are as bright then I would go
that route rather than a 2 series to stay compatible with the older
bodies. And since the older bodies give wrong reading with both types
the disadvantage is a wash, correct?. I'm willing to sacrifice the meter
reading for a bright finder image for telephoto and macro. And I could
always switch back to the correctly reading screens when needed.
--Clear field screens give proper readings in the OM4T and fit without
modification, right?
--Is the meter reading discrepancy in the older bodies linear? i.e. a
constant 1 or 2 stops for example?
--What exactly is the difference 1-5, 1-6, 1-7? Yeah, I can read that
they cover different ranges of focal length but there is no difference
apparent from the descriptions and pictures in the esif. I'm leaning
toward the 1-6, maybe 1-7.
--How does the 1-8 or 1-10 rank in brightness with the 1-1, 1-2, or 1-4?
OK, this will get me started I hope. Thanks in advance.
