Mirror shock from this camera registers on a Richter scale. I always lock up
the mirror, but despite that, the shutter shake ocurring between 1/8 and
1/60th is enough to cause noticeable image degradation, in my experience.
I admit, a heavier tripod than mine (Bogen 3021) would clearly help. I just
haven't had the time or the money to do that much experimenting.
