It is far from the "end for a (formerly) great company" because Polaroid
filed Chapter 11, not 7. Thus, Polaroid will be reorganized as opposed to
liquidated. In the past, several great companies have filed Chapter 11 only
to emerge profitable and much stronger. This filing will help save Polaroid,
not mark "the end". What will be sad is if the List members who bought the
SS 4000+ relying on the $200 rebate, never receive it.
The issue relative to the List, is whether or not List members that have
recently bought the SS4000 will receive their $200 rebates. What concerns me
is that not one List member reports having received the rebate.
