Tina, there are a few possibilities. Easiest, you can set the OM2s to
auto and select an aperature that gives 1/30th sec. and the flash will
fire automatically. If you are outside in the sun then the balance
between the flash and the natural light will probably be OK. The camera
will sync at 1/60 but by choosing 1/30 there is a better chance that the
camera will actually choose a speed of 1/60th or slower. If during the
actual exposure the camera decides to go faster than 1/60 (even though
metered at 1/60) then the flash won't fire. Other option is to do as
another person suggested and turn the back panel over and use those
settings. Or you could do full manual and set by hand. I'm no expert on
this so if I'm wrong someone please step in and correct me.
