My Winder 2 has just developed a problem. At first I thought it was in need
of fresh batteries. I took the camera out last week without any film, just
to practice a bit of panning techniques when all of a sudden the winder
became very sluggish. New set of batteries, same result. Took it to my local
camera store that had a winder 2 for sale and tried it on my Om-10. This
winder was working, so we swapped the battery packs over and it worked
perfectly on the stores winder. So we narrowed it down to the winder itself.
This is the problem. It will not continually wind on in sequential mode, and
in both single and sequential mode when the shutter release button is
depressed it fires the curtains open but only winds on about 1/4 of a frame.
It is like it has a huge power drain or something!
Has anybody else had this problem and if so can it be fixed?? or is the
winder going to end up being a nice grip for my OM-10.
Thanks Adam
