Mea culpa . . . my confusion about the cords and sockets . . .
The 7-pin socket is on the F280 and the only way I know of to use this
connector is with the F0.6 cord you mention. You're right: the 4T[i] has a
5-pin on the body. It cannot be directly connected to the F280, but can be
used to connect to a "T" series using any of the "T" cords. The most
restrictive combination off-camera (but not impossible) is an F280 with an
OM-4. One of the reasons I sold the F280 and bought another T-32.
