Yes it can. Of course the meter won't display proper readings with a 1-x
screen anymore. In either case, automatic exposure will be unaffected
since metering there is done off the film, not off the screen. The 2-x
screen will also need to have it's tab filed a bit to fit an OM-2n.

The OM-2S, OM-3(Ti), and OM-4(T(i)) don't meter off the screen at all.
For manual and auto display they use the sub-mirror behind the main
mirror for metering. No adjustment is necessary for the 2-x screens.
