OK, the urge to have as many Zuikos not withstanding, if I were to get a

less and it does not require pushing in the aperature pin?
Not to be anal about it, but the shift lens is designed with a much larger
image circle than a regular 35/2.8. In other words, the regular lens can
have mechanical vignetting in the front part of the lens, while the shift
lens has to let light through from a much wider field of view. This
additional light will then be bouncing around in the back of the lens and
in the mirror box of the camera. The shift lens *could* very well have
lower contrast in situations where strong light sources are just outside
the image area. A hood from the regular 35mm should reduce the risk, though.
Pure speculation from me, and I've got no intention to perform any field
tests, as I don't like the 35mm focal length anyway.
