Well, I've backed off from detailing the boxes at the front door, but this
one I just had to mention <g>.
Opened the front door late tonight to discover a box left on the doorstep.
Priority mail insured, so I was surprised they left it.
Glad I live in a safe neighborhood, as the box contained a very nice
champagne 4T and.......
a 180/2 in its Aluminum case. (Thanks to the listmember who sold it to
me!).
This thing is amazing. It is much smaller and lighter than I expected.
Literally a baby version of the 350/2.8. About half the size and half the
weight.
Enough about the size.
This thing is awesome. It balances surprisingly well. I haven't had time to
grab the monopod, but I suspect it is perfect for it. It is a beautful off
white with the coolest leather zip on lenscap. And that glass -- all that
glass.
My original plan was to have it in the 'collection' for a few months and
then recognize the cost/use ratio and sell it.
Now.......
Tom
