I once sold one on ebay and had the darndest time convincing the buyer that
the sound was normal. I, of course, offered a full refund but encouraged
him to find another one to 'listen to'. After awhile he found someone local
with one and, sure enough, they sounded the same.
I can sure understand the concern, though.
