Cruised by the show this afternoon. Some, but not a lot of Olympus gear. A
winder or two. a motor drive or two, several PC, 10's, 1s, 2s and one 2S. No
3s or 4s. A few lenses. Some third party and a few Zuikos. The most
exciting for me (read ones I don't have and might like to for the right
price) were a 85 f2 at $250. It was probably about an 8 or so with some
brassing on the mount, however clean/clear glass and the MC version. There
was a 180 f 2.8 for $695 that was like new save for a lttle dust from sitting
out for awhile, however the asking price, condition and mywillingness to pay
pretty much kept me from starting a conversation that would have led to it
having a new home at my house. Saw a 35mm f2 for $150 asking that was in
pretty nice condition (about a 7 or 8). I was impressed with the large
number of out of town vendors and the variety of stuff. A little
disappointing from the standpoint of Olympus gear, however it was an
interesting show and I ran into a fairly well known Texas professional
photographer that I hadn't seen in 30 years. Reconnecting with this guy made
the trip more than worth the few bucks and few hours I invested in the trip.
