I keep a few for small parts/tools/etc, and give the rest to my wife
(she tales them to school, and they use them for all sorts of art and
science projects there) or to the local one hour lab, where they
recycle old film cannisters. I also take in my other recyclable
darkroom trash - film ends, cartridges, etc.
I've considered building a house from Tri-X containers, but haven't
yet devised a good way to attach them to each other. I bet they'd
make good insulation inside a hollow wall.
