"I have a Spotmatic, 35mm f3.5 & 135mm f3.5, the body
and those 2 lenses are all larger than the OM equivalents, although not an
enormous amount larger, like for example the Nikon F.
Wayne Harridge"
My first camera was a Spotmatic. That was in the days when quite a few real
photojournalists used them, although they were going to the Nikon F in
droves soon after. I had sold my Spotmatic 5 or 6 years before I got my wife
got her OM1, which is what got me into OM's in the first place, but I
remember the Pentax and its lenses as quite a bit bigger, although they were
light.
I've still got my Nikons, and, although at the time there seemed to be a
large size difference, now it seems modest. Compare a Nikon f with an F5!
