I have the Summicron-C 40/2, a CL and the Pola SS4000. I can't answer the
question - they are all great. But, I REALLY love my 30 year old CL (esp.
with the new Voigtlander 15mm on it). There is no answer - work, consume,
die with the most toys, win!
The scanner is not made by Polariod and is marketed under another name as
well (sorry, forgotten) so support/parts should be available if Pola goes
down the gurgler.
