Ray Moth asked about X-Ray machines in shoe stores... Oh yes, they had them in the 40's in Indiana. Think I remember Buster Brown brand shoes... and 'HiJacks' lace-up boots with a 'Jack-knife' in it's own pocket on the right boot. Picture a kid going to school with that today!
