They are using sky marshalls again, like they did in the '70's. Also,
only passengers are allowed into the gate areas. Further, the startup is
only very limited. Only airports that meet the FAA's new security
requirements will be open.

National Airport is there because the members of Congress and the
Supreme Court want an airport convenient for them. They have thier own
special parking area, or they did at least before the additions were
built.

Well, I can see funding increases for covert operations at least. Maybe
they will authorize the CIA to perform assasinations again....
But, I know America wants to see the military make a big splash
somewhere "over there". Based on what I've been reading, I don't think
it's going to happen. All of bin Ladens camps are now empty for example.
Most likely, all members have been widely dispursed. Tracking all these
people down is going to be a monumental problem.
Even if bin Laden was not directly involved in this, he needs to be
removed because he is the leader and idol of these people. I believe he
was involved of course.
