Thanks. I looked through the esif, didn't see much, then surfed through the
dreaded E*ay reading descriptions of the various ones currently there. Had
sort of drawn conclusions similar to your recommendations (at least re; lack
of user control on the EE)

It's fully auto only, so it's only as good as its selenium meter. A more
useful model for using would be a Pen, Pen S, Pen D or Pen W (the latter
rare and very expensive) as these can be used manually. I'm not sure about
the price as there is a collector's uplift on many of these, maybe $30 from
a user's point of view.
