That there are extremists in Palestine. The vast majority of people there
don't believe that this is a good thing: [forwarding]
3:51pm Subject: So do you want to know what the MAJORITY of the
people in Palestine are doing right now?
I have 2 friends in the mid east. One is Israeli, one is Palestinian. I had
a chat with them both, and then watched a news reporter for the BBC say the
exact same things about 10 minutes later on TV.
Here is what my Palestinian friend said (brackets are my explanations):
"nobody is in the streets, the jewish are all inside watching television, of
course nobody is celebrating. most of the religious among us [the
palestinians] are at mos [mosque, or church] praying that we don't suffer
for something done by the crazy ones."
"i don't think anyone is celebrating. they must have got that footage of a
few crazies being stupid. nobody here is happy, they are all scared and
sorrowful. this is against all the principle of HI and M, pbwh [Holy Islam
and Mohammed, peace be with him]."
Nobody in Palestine but a tiny handful of people are celebrating, that's why
you donn't see anything but those 2 clips of a total of about 30 people OVER
AND OVER again on the news.
