A word of caution, be carefull what filters, lens
hoods or other threaded lens accessories you place on
the 40/f2. As you may have noticed the threads rotate
with the aperature ring and are very shallow in depth.
A filter that threads in too deeply could contact the
non rotating surface and mar or damage the lens. I
would suppose Olympus brand should be used
exculsively. John Robison
