Tell her only if you feel like you need to give your boss a reason to think 
you are an as$&#@e.  Tamron makes some decent lenses and I think they are 
owned by the same folks who own N*k*n.  You might confine your comments to 
the boss about her photography to some appropriate compliments on the results 
of her photography or answering her specific questions if you feel competent 
to answer them.  Just sign me, Someone's Boss
