In joke - Cardie - I'll leave it to you to explain ;-)
As I'm from Cwmtwrch and most employees are either Cardies or Gogs (you can
do that one too!)I may have an advantage in how tight my purse strings are!
I think you're right in saying that the MF may not attract too much
attention: However, my "insider" knowledge tells me that the Company have
taken prices from popular UK Photo mags and put a "bottom price" on all
items based on (Average PM price/Employee Factor)so no "give-aways" even
though the EF may be 2. Now there's Cardies for you!!

David,
Not a usual situation for a Cardie!! thinking about spending!!!!
If you really want the stuff...you've got to bid.
If you wouldn't be too upset missing out, reduce your bids by 10-20% - this
would give you sufficient margin to sell them on again if you bought them
but weren't impressed.
Apart from AF, what could the Nik*n give you that you haven't got (or
couldn't buy) already?
I suggest that there'd be less interest in the medium format stuff - you
could probably pick this up at a bargain price.
Having said that....I'd want the lot!!!
