The current Shutterbug magazine (September 2001) has an article on this very
subject! Drop me an e-mail if you can't find a copy. A lot of how you determine
exposure will be dependent on your background and lighting. My preference for
portraits is a light blue background paper that I found years ago. It is very
close to 18% reflectance. with print film the OM averaging meter works great. I
usually shoot with my OM-2 or OM-4 two T-20s and one T-32. Works like a charm.
