The monopod really helped. Probably the best
$50 I've spent on any piece of gear for
bang for the buck. The Tokina has a tripod
mount, so it worked rather nicely, particularly
with the 1.4x on the camera. More pictures
to come, and more cleaning up of the web
'site' over time, as I get better w/html.

Nice photos, Mike. I'm actually surprised by how well the motion is frozen,
considering the zoom+teleconverter lens rig, film speed and apparantly
