Ooooh, not really! I mean Bristol is the nearest reasonably BIG city, and
Helston itself sure ain't the size of NYC!!
Maybe he could have said 'Exeter' as the nearest large-ish city, but most of
us Brits are so bad at geography, they wouldn't know where that is either!
"Bristol" is a good way of saying "I'm in the South West!!
Of course, the Cornish might object to his saying he is in the UK at all!
