Don't you mean snow blow? When I lived in Laramie from '79 - 85 the road
across the Snowy Range opened on Mermorial Day weekend. They usually had
to cut through 20 - 25 foot snow drifts. We would go up to watch people
slide down the slopes on their jackets, garbage bags or what ever. Often,
the south facing slopes were pink from the algae growing in the snow.

many vacations in early June when the snow was still piled high
on Snowy Peak Pass, and the Ranger was so happy to see
humans, he'd plow the road from the campsite to the lake.
