Some additional data points. From my Olympus Six collection I see:
Six I: 1946, postwar, Koho shutter
Zuiko 7.5cm f3.5, only 4 elements
completely uncoated
Chrome Six I: 1949/1950
Zuiko C 7.5cm f3.5
only front element coated
Chrome Six IIIb: 1950-54
Zuiko F.C. 7.5cm f2.8
all elements coated
I would say that your assumption that "C" means front element coated and
"F.C." has all elements coated is correct. The lack of either of these
designations means the lens has no coatings.
