[OM] another quick: which circular polarizer & 18/3.5

Which 72mm circular polarizers won't vignette on the 18/3.5 with OEM 49-72
step-up?
Do I really have to buy the  B+W slim ultra-wide?...it's $170.00 :-(
Or is using a polarizer on the 18/3.5 a waste?
