Perhaps it's the earlyiness of the hour, but reading it in the cold light of
morning, makes it all look faintly ridiculous somehow, and I'm NOT making
light of any of the issues that have been raised.
Sometimes we all need to take a step back and look at ourselves.
I hope I'm not the only one seeing the humorous side of all this.
BTW, congratulations to Olaf.

I'm glad that at least one other person doesn't take this all too
seriously. I mean some people here really think that this is an all out,
all serious forum in life! I think that the behaviour by most who
contribute to the off topic posts implies some humour and yet I am
sometimes confounded by the lack of insight into the underlying
ridiculousness of it all.
Sure I stir the pot sometimes, but its only because these off topic posts
really contribute to the sense of "family" someone so aptly described some
time ago. It would be so dry otherwise. I love the fact that the Olympus
list can be the source of much comedy in my life.
Stop taking it all so seriously!!
