Hello Gary,
The SLR experience (for an old RF user) has seduced me into wider and wider
lenses. The 35mm Summicron was my "normal" lens when I used Leicas. Now I
seem to be heading back to rangefinder cameras. (Forgive me for the
heresy, folks.) But I will maintain an Oly kit. Your post and others is
helping persuade me that I should not part with my somewhat cosmetically
disadvantaged Zuiko 35/2.
Thanks,
John

That the 35mm f/2 Zuiko has the lowest flare level ever tested in a 35mm
SLR lens, due in no part to Olympus blackening the edges of some
elements. Having just blackened the edges of a premium slide projector
lens, I can attest to how well that helps improve contrast.
