Well, the show wasn't bad last night. Being that summer arrived this
week here in the PacNW with temps approaching and even exceding...gasp!
80F/27C. we went out in the field last night for a rare look at the sky.
I may return with the camera tonight.

Last night in central Indiana sucked for "good seeing" of the
sky. Atmospheric humidity created a yellowish moon and there was a good
amount of high cloud cover too. Today, if it holds into tonight, should
have "good seeing" if I can get far enough to the north of the city. Even
though it's small, it's a huge light polluter at night with zero controls
on it. The sky is clear of clouds and blue down to the northern horizon
with zero detectable haze.
