> You may not recall Ken's sordid past
Yes, I WORKED in a camera shop. Kinda like a druggie working in
a cr*ck lab.

And the overall quality of my pictures has gone UP many times
over. It's nice not being distracted with too many choices.
Also, when your shooting percentage with any particular lens
increases you will tend to exploit its characteristics a bit
more. None of my lenses are the "top-tier" F2 variety, but I'm
very pleased with what I have, as they still are better than
most alternatives.

It's much easier to resist when your wife keeps the checkbook
and you've got $20,000 in debts to pay off.
> Now along come people like Tom and Gregg trying to suck him

The problem is that Tom supplied THE GOOD STUFF!

Get real, Chip! You are enjoying the addiction too much to give
it up yet. You know it's bad when you get 75 pound packages
left on your doorstep and you must sell to others to support
your habit.
The big problem we're now running into is that since I've
promoted the silvernosed lenses so much, our favorite enabler is
now hoarding them and wanting to build up a complete collection
of them.
