I agree with Tom. Contrary to my former post stating that I would wait and
get a 4000dpi unit, I succumbed to the temptation and bought the Acer
Scanwit 2740s with Digital Ice. Got it at uBid.com with a winning bid of
$349. I'm very pleased with it. I'm also glad I didn't wait, because there's
so much I can do NOW that I have it. I watched a couple of other auctions
for the same item on uBid that raced out of sight. Be patient. They also
have the 2720S show up from time to time.
