Richard,
In laymen's terms, the first number is your degree of nearsightedness (a
number from 0.00 to around 7.00 usually, so yours is minor), the second is
your astigmatism (which makes things fuzzy..again, it is slight but enuf to
casue you to squint slightly, especially towards the end of the day or when
tired.) You can probably squint enough to get by, but a -1 doptor correction
would make things a bit clearer.
