Hi,
I have a 2.8/100 with a sticky aperature ring (not the blades itself)
it don't go smooth like all other zuikos i have so far or had in my hands
in a shop. THe focusing ring and all other mechanical parts (blades
an preview button) are fine and smooth as usual. There is some dust inside
the lens (no metal-shiny parts! only plain dust),
but I think I can live with this (if I think if it will bother
me some day I might try to clean it - it sure can only be less dust after then
!)
But with that sticky aperature ring. I have to use some kind of small force
to move it and it seems to me that the oil/lubricant has gone old. Seller
said the lens (and other I bought) weren't used the last four years. All other
lenses from him are fine.
I moved the aperature ring (gently) two dozent times from 2.8 to
the other end and back. it's only a little bit better. is there any way
to try a home made job or is this definately a job for John or Clint or
some other camera mechanican ?
