Careful, Rick. REI is addictive, too. First you buy a small daypack.
Before long, you are comparison shopping between 17 different types of ice
axes, camp stoves, sleeping bags, canoe paddles, freeze dried foods, boots,
on and on.
REI does carry a fair amount of photographic and other dodads that might come
in helpful on a trip such as Palmyra. Canoe/Kayak dry boxes, for example.
Also shoes/hiking boots/kayak/canoe shoes of ALL kinds.
