The only documentation I could find is in a Carl Shipman "How to use and
select Olympus SLR cameras". Under OM4 and OM2S it says: (partial quote)
"Battery Check - If the batteries are ok, the red lamp glows continuously
and the beeper sounds coutinuously. If the batteries are weak but usable,
the light blinks and the beeper sounds intermittently." I think it only
happened to me once and I don't remember whether it was an OM4 or an
OM2S...tossed the batteries and it worked fine.
