In case the address of the new list for OM discussion was buried amongst a
thread everyone didn't get I'll include it here again:

The aim is to reduce the amount of spam and virii that end up on the list.
Other advantages are that users can select what format they receive their
emails. Posts can be in HTML or text. Sub*scribers get to choose what form
they receive the mailings.
To configure their settings sub*scribers go to:
http://www.coollist.com/users/login.html
and select their preferences.
For example list members can choose to receive mail as:
1. Individual HTML
2. Individual Text
3. Web with a web based interface.
4. Daily Digest
5. Weekly Digest
With no spam (and hopefully less off topic posts) the digests may really
work for members.
