Performance isn't the only thing. Waaaaaay too much cheap plastic in an
overpriced Chevy. The US (unfortunately) stays away from the top level
materials/fit/finish of certain overseas cars.
That's why I stay with my mid sixties american tbird convertible. Simplicity,
reliablity, ease of getting parts, top level leathers, stainless steel, etc, and
supersubstantial construction. The 12mpg gets compensated by a $165 per year
full coverage classic car insurance policy at the $20,000 car value. :)
