Lots of times with one of my 2SP bodies - the one that doesn't have the
red cover that forces you to lift the tab before you can move it
sideways.
One day, I'm going to try a little modification: by some means, I
propose to extend the thing into a proper lever about 30mm long so that
I can use the self timer as a mirror/aperture prefire (if you cancel the
self timer once the countdown has started, the exposure is made
immediately).
I've used this trick to improve stability of handheld shots with a
pentax 6x7, so it should work when using an OM at slow speeds (<1/30s).
Trouble is, at the moment more camera movement is introduced manually
cancelling the self timer than would be induced by the mirror movement.
A longer lever that can be moved smoothly should change that.
