I am planning to visit Libya next year and have been looking into the
visa situation. According to the one guide-book, if you are a US
citizen, the best thing to do is to loose your passport on the way
home with the offending stamp, and get a replacement from a consulate.
This is a real long shot, but has anyone on the list gone to the USA
with a Libyan visa in their passport? I usually go to the USA once or
twice a year for work, and would hate to be turned back because of
whats in my passport...
Pete
